CASTLE VS. CITY

Action Packed All Day Event

Saturday, September 9th 2017

This battle will take place in two locations; a 5000 square foot, two-story castle and a city, consisting of towers and 20+ buildings. Will this battle be forced into the woods, around or inside the huge Castle or will it take place in the City, going through hallways and rooms or bunkers. Watch out! Above you are 8 towers throughout the two locations. Which team will succeed in this epic battle of Castle vs. City?

Castle vs. City is not only a shoot-out, there are other objectives to score. If you're a player that likes to shoot 'em up or a player that enjoys to be a snipper or if you like missions with objectives, then you will enjoy this battle. Not only will the castle and city have objectives and missions, but Ambush has many villages and fort locations that are of point value throughout the playing field. All Ambush fields will become one field. You will travel and battle through woods, buildings, villages, trenches, speedball fields and more. You not only have to worry about the enemy but you must watch out for the Gunners traveling throughout the battlefield in our Ambush vehicles. Landmines and tripwire will also be set throughout the battlefield. Ambush will make sure you have an excellent experiment at this event. Good luck and have a great time.

TIMES:

Registration: 7:00am
Chronograph: 7:15am-8:15am (all guns must be tagged to enter field play)
Rules, Teams, Armbands, Team Positioning: 8:30am-9:30am
Game Time: 9:45am-4pm
Break for 45 minutes *12:30pm
Prizes: Given before rules and at 12:30pm break

COST:

Pre-Registration - $85 includes 1 case of paint (2000 paintballs) (pre-register before sept 1st)
Sept 2nd - Sept. 6th - $110.00 includes 1 case of paint (2000 paintballs)
Sept 7th - online registration closes
Sept. 9th - pay at field - $125.00 includes 1 case of paint (2000 paintballs)
Gun Rental - $10.00 includes mask

How To Win: Castle vs. City

Scores are taken ever ½ hour.

Ways to Score:

  1. Props of your team color taken back to your prop scoring station
  2. Flags at all main forts & fields throughout battlefield. Raise your flag at those locations (badlands, legos, Bunkerhill, Bunkertown, climbers camp, shooters ridge, top of train tunnel, hostile heights, bushwhack flats, woods forts # 1, 2, 3, 4)
  3. Major takeovers of any opponents tower, switch key color outside window.
  4. Elimination: worth 5 points each
  5. Respawn points are:
    • Both ammo dumps
    • White house
    • Box truck

*cannot shoot in or out of respawn points.
*caution tape marks safe zone.
*netting areas, go inside netted respawn area or return to safe zone/picnic area to remove goggles

Score Values: taken every ½ hour:

  1. Major Takeover - each tower 500 points (8 major towers: 4000 points total)
  2. Flags at Forts - 100 points (12 locations: 1200 points total)
  3. Props on Field - 25 points each

*Props and Elimination: added at halftime and at end. Could be the difference in winning, these add up quickly


BASIC RULES and REMINDERS

(Make sure you know and understand these, Infraction's include EJECTION and/or point deductions)

  1. NO CHEATING
  2. Anyone caught cheating will be ejected for the day (no refunds)
  3. point deduction from your squad
  4. NO SHOOTING OVER LIMITS
  5. Anyone shooting over limits will be ejected for the day (no refunds)
  6. point deduction from your squad
  7. FULL FACE GEAR ON PLAYING FIELD
  8. Full seal goggles with mesh mask or full mask REQUIRED
  9. 1st infraction: sit for ½ hour of play in safe zone
  10. point deduction for your squad
  11. NO REMOVAL OF GOGGLES OR MASK ON PLAYING FIELD
  12. 1st infraction- point deduction
  13. 2nd infraction- ejected for the day plus point deduction for your squad
  14. SEMI-AUTO ONLY INSIDE BUILDING
  15. ALL BB's MUST BE BIO-DEGRADABLE
  16. Ejection for the day
  17. point deduction for your squad
  18. NO SOUND GRENADES or SMOKE GRENADES INSIDE BUILDINGS
  19. Cold burning smoke grenades ONLY
  20. Hot burning grenades- EJECTION for the day
  21. NO HAND TO HAND COMBAT
  22. Ejection immediately
  23. NO BLIND FIRING OR TURN AND BURNS AROUND CORNER OF BUILDINGS/HALLWAYS
  24. Go to re-spawn point if caught
  25. NO SHOOTING OVER CORNER/ACROSS BOUNDARIES
  26. NO SHOOTING IN OR OUT OF RE-SPAWN POINTS
  27. NO CLIMBING TREES OR TREE STANDS
  28. NO CRAWLING UNDER BUILDINGS
  29. NO CLIMBING ON TOP OF BUNKERS OR ROOFS OF BUILDINGS
  30. NO CURSING AT OTHER PLAYERS
  31. MUST CHRONOGRAPH ALL GUNS AND PISTOLS (Guns will be marked by Ambush Staff)
  32. GOGGLES ON IN CHRONO AREA AND FIRING RANGE
  33. MAGS OUT AND SLEEVES ON IN PICNIC AREA/SAFE ZONE MANDATORY!
  34. ALL PISTOLS MUST BE HOLSTERED: No pistol should be out in hand in Safe Zone
  35. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED
